Board your air-conditioned transportation at the Grand Turk Cruise Center for a narrated driving tour of the charming historic Front Street as you travel to Conch World on the island's Eastern Shore. At the site you will be met by the friendly staff that will issue you a Conch World Passport and then take you to the Bare Naked Conch Café for a welcome drink and a tasting of the farmed conch.The next stop is the Pink Pearl Gift Shop where you will meet your tour guide and proceed to theater, Conch Lore and Conch Farming buildings. The guide will pass on interesting information about the Queen conch as you move through the informative displays. The tour continues past saltwater ponds showing different age classes of farmed conch. The last stop is the holding tanks of the world famous trained conchs, Sally & Jerry. Numerous photo ops will allow you to view the picturesque South Creek National Park, and your cruise ship and Gibbs Cay in the distance. After returning to the gift shop, you can return to the café, take a nature walk to the pristine beach or the mangrove area of South Creek Sound, prior to your return to the ship.
