Grand Turk Helicopter Tour
Your helicopter flight will depart from Mountain Air’s private heliport with an instant rush over the outlaying clear blue waters of Grand Turk Island. You will fly the entire coast to visit outer Cays and popular shark and stingray areas of the reef. There is a visit to the historical Imperial Lighthouse (built in1852) and take a spin around a 190-year-old sunken shipwreck. The entire Heli-tour is an unobstructed view of the country's incredible coast, shallows, reefs and 7,000 foot sea wall.
Guests will also have a close-up and bird's eye view of the cruise terminal. The helicopter tour is personally narrated by the pilot who points out many of the key attractions and interest locations on and around the island.
Passengers are allowed to take pictures, ask questions and interact with each other over the intercommunications system. Upon return to the Heliport guests will have free time to explore the South Beach area, purchase souvenirs or return to the Cruise Center.
This is a fun activity made for single passengers or family entertainment. Infants below 2 yrs. fly free.
